Sofia, 15 July 1997 (RFE/RL) -- Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic arrived in Sofia today for a two-day official visit.
Our correspondent in Sofia reports that Granic plans to meet Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Nadezhda Mikhailova, as well as parliamentary speaker Jordan Sokolov.
Granich, who is the highest ranking Croatian official to visit Bulgaria since Zagreb declared independence from the former Yugoslavia, is expected to sign agreements with Sofia's finance and agriculture ministries.
