Baghdad, 19 December 2003 (RFE/RL) -- At least one person was killed and at least five others were wounded today in an explosion at a building belonging to Iraq's main Shi'ite Muslim political party, the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI). The blast occurred at a religious school in a SCIRI compound in western Baghdad. Mohsen al-Hakim, a SCIRI official, blamed the explosion on the "agents of old regime and terrorists".
