Afghan Politicians Protest Vote Results

Lawmakers and candidates for office are holding ongoing protests in the Afghan capital, Kabul, demanding that the results of the September 18 parliamentary election be annulled and a new vote held. The protesters today marched past the palace of President Hamid Karzai and chanted slogans calling the election results fraudulent.
