A car packed with explosives rammed into another vehicle near the international airport in Kabul early on September 18, killing at least 12 people. The Hizb-e Islami insurgent group claimed responsibility, saying the bombing was in retaliation for a privately made U.S. film mocking the Prophet Muhammad.
