Militants Attack Kabul Police Station

Fighting was reported in western Kabul after a series of coordinated attacks struck the headquarters of the city's traffic police. Police said that several suicide bombers were shot dead as they tried to enter the building. A car bomb detonated nearby an hour later. (Sabawoon, RFE/RL's Radio Free Afghanistan)
