Attackers stormed the offices of the Freedom and Justice Party, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, in the city of Sharqiya late on June 26, shortly after a speech by President Muhammad Morsi, the party's chairman. The attackers broke windows and started fires outside the headquarters. In Morsi's televised speech, he warned that continuing unrest threatens to paralyze Egypt. Opponents of the Islamist-backed president are planning to stage mass protests on June 30, the anniversary of his inauguration. (Reuters)
