Assad Family Interpreter: 'The War Is Not Syrian-Made'

Mihran Bertizlian, an ethnic-Armenian Syrian who worked as the official interpreter for Syrian First Lady Asma al-Assad, fled Syria for Armenia five months ago to secure his family's safety. In an interview with RFE/RL Armenian Service Director Harry Tamrazian in Yerevan, Bertizlian spoke about the foreign influences he sees as fueling the country's war, and the message he would like to send to Western leaders.
