The world's chemical watchdog is calling for inspections of Syria's chemical-weapons arsenal to begin on October 1.
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said it will inspect any sites identified as having been involved in chemical weapons.
The OPCW usually only inspects sites that have been declared by member states.
The OPCW was due to hold a meeting later on September 27 in The Hague to discuss the draft plan.
The meeting comes after the five permanent members of the UN Security Council agreed on a draft resolution aimed at eliminating Syria's chemical weapons.
Meanwhile, a team of UN inspectors on the ground in Syria said on September 27 that they are investigating seven cases of alleged chemical-weapons use, including three incidents around Damascus after the August 21 attack that almost triggered U.S. air strikes.
