Crimean Parliament Votes To Join Russia

The parliament in Ukraine's Crimea region has voted unanimously to join Russia, and called for a referendum on the decision to be held on March 16. Speaking outside the parliament, Sergei Tsekov, a lawmaker and chairman of the Russian community of Crimea, said that Crimea had "reunited with our motherland." (Reuters)
