Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said on October 31 it apprehended a man suspected of coordinating an assassination attempt in Russian-occupied Crimea of former Ukrainian lawmaker Oleh Tsaryov, a pro-Moscow public figure who was reported to have been lined up by the Kremlin to lead a puppet administration in Kyiv after Russia's invasion. According to the FSB, the suspect confessed to the charge while Tsaryov's condition has improved and his life is out of danger.
