A cargo plane crashed in Russia's Far Eastern Kolyma region today, killing all 11 people onboard.
Russian officials say the pilots of the Antonov-12, which was carrying 16 tons of food products from Magadan to the remote region of Chukotka, reported one of the plane's four engines was on fire.
The plane was about to make an emergency landing when it disappeared from radar screens.
A search-and-rescue team was sent out to the scene of the crash.
The 11 people on board included nine crew members and two passengers.
