Iraqi officials say coordinated blasts across the capital, Baghdad, have killed at least 35 people and destroyed several buildings.
A spokesman for the city's operations command center, Major General Qasim al-Musawi, said the blasts destroyed buildings in three neighborhoods.
Dozens more people were injured and others were reported trapped under rubble.
The blasts in the capital came two days after coordinated suicide car-bomb attacks on foreign embassies killed more than 40 people and wounded more than 200 others.
Authorities had warned of a possible escalation of violence because of rising tension after March 7 parliamentary elections that produced no clear winner.
