An new audio message purportedly of the voice of Osama bin Laden has been released, threatening that Al-Qaeda will kill Americans if Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged planner of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, is executed.
The audio message was aired by Al-Jazeera TV today.
A voice claiming to be Osama bin Laden says Mohammed's killing would mean a "death sentence" for Americans captured by Al-Qaeda.
Mohammed is currently in U.S. custody awaiting trial.
The Obama administration is still debating where to conduct his the process.
