The South East Europe Media Organization (SEEMO) has condemned what it calls an attack against a journalist from "Euroblic," the Bosnian-Herzegovinian edition of the "Blic" daily in Belgrade.
On March 13, a car belonging to Rade Tesic was set alight as it was parked near his house in Doboj, Bosnia. Tesic was not injured in the incident.
"To set the car of a journalist on fire is a serious attack on press freedom and is seen as an attempt to intimidate and silence journalists," says SEEMO Secretary-General Oliver Vujovic.
Vujovic said he welcomes the police investigation in order to determine the cause of the fire and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
