BERLIN (Reuters) -- The leader of Germany's Free Democrats (FDP), Guido Westerwelle, has said he wants talks on the removal of the last remaining U.S. nuclear weapons in Germany.
Westerwelle, tipped to be Germany's next foreign minister, was speaking at a news conference after his FDP won enough support in the September 27 federal election for a parliamentary majority with the Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives.
