A female suicide bomber has attacked security forces in Russia's North Caucasus region, where Moscow is struggling to contain an Islamist insurgency.
Russian media reports said the suicide bomber blew herself up after approaching security forces carrying out a raid to detain alleged militants in a village in Ingushetia.
One police officer was reported killed in the blast. Last week, two female suicide bombers killed 40 people in attacks on the Moscow subway.
That was followed by suicide bombings in the North Caucasus republic of Daghestan that killed 12 people.
An Islamist militant group claimed responsibility for the Moscow attacks.
