Internet giant Google has reversed an earlier statement that blamed service interruptions in China on a technical glitch it took responsibility for.
Now the Internet giant says blocked search queries on March 30 were the result of changes in China's censorship practices.
Google also said search traffic in China appears to be back to normal.
Earlier, the company said the disturbances may have been caused when it shut its mainland Chinese portal and rerouted web searches to a Hong Kong site.
