Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad says Iran will "soon" announce new conditions for talks with major world powers on the nuclear dispute.
In a speech in central Iran, Ahmadinejad said Tehran will not be "intimidated" by a fourth round of sanctions the UN Security Council imposed against it last week amid fears its nuclear program is covertly aimed at making weapons.
Iran denies it is seeking nuclear arms.
Ahmadinejad's comments came after the EU's foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, this week invited Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, to resume talks.
