Iran's 'Michelle Obama' Stands By Her Man

Zahra Rahnavard, wife of reformist presidential candidate Mir Hossein Musavi, is increasingly being compared to U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.

The chador-clad writer and professor frequently accompanies her husband to meetings with voters.

Other times, she delivers speeches to his supporters when her husband is campaigning elsewhere.

It had previously been pretty much unheard-of in the Islamic Republic of Iran for the wife of a candidate to play an active role in her husband's presidential race.
