MOSCOW -- Moscow police have detained two youth activists near Moscow State University (MGU), RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.
The coordinator for the youth movement Oborona (Defense), Oleg Kozlovsky, and his assistant, Ilya Mishchenko, were arrested while using loudspeakers to urge MGU students to take part in a March of Dissent on March 12.
A Russian opposition leader, Eduard Limonov, told RFE/RL that 10 of his supporters have been detained since March 1. Limonov said the detentions are connected with plans by the opposition coalition Other Russia to hold the march in major Russian towns and cities.
