NATO says one foreign soldier was killed by a makeshift bomb in southern Afghanistan today.
This brings to 25 the number of foreign troops reported killed since the February 13 launch of Operation Mushtarak (Together) against insurgents in the Marjah and Nad Ali areas of the southern Helmand Province.
NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) earlier announced the deaths of two foreign soldiers on February 20, one in the country's east and the other in the south.
ISAF did not give the nationality of any of the soldiers, according to policy.
