The bodies of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria are lying in state in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw for Poles to pay their final respects.
Both were killed along with 94 others in a plane crash near Smolensk, in Russia on April 10.
President Kaczynski and his delegation were on their way to Katyn, near Smolensk, for a memorial service for the 22,000 Poles killed by Soviet forces during World War II 70 years ago.
Russia's health minister today said almost half of the dead in the crash had already been identified. Government spokesman Pawel Gras said today that the bodies of 30 victims of the plane crash are expected in Warsaw on April 14. He declined to specify the identity of the victims.
Kaczynski, who was the first to be identified, was flown back to Warsaw on April 11, where tens of thousands of Poles turned out to mourn him.
His wife's body was flown back home today.
Kaczynski and his wife are to be buried on April 18 at Wawel Castle in the southern city of Krakow.
