Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency reports that an F4 fighter jet crashed near a nuclear plant in southern Iran today, wounding the plane's two pilots.
Local government official Gholam Reza Keshtkar said the incident took place about six kilometers north of Bushehr city, home to Iran's first nuclear power plant, which is due to start operations on August 21.
Keshtkar is quoted as saying that "the two pilots were successful in ejecting themselves" and are now being hospitalized, but did not provide additional information as to their condition.
