A Russian report says at least 11 people were taken to hospital after crowds attending a rock music festival in south-central Russia were attacked -- reportedly by a gang of dozens of neo-Nazi skinheads wielding metal rods and clubs.
Russian state-run news channel Rossiya-24 reported the death of a 14-year-old girl, but the ITAR-TASS news agency quoted police in the Chelyabinsk Oblast as saying no one had died in the violence.
ITAR-TASS also quoted police as saying 15 people suspected of carrying out the attack in the city of Miass had been detained and were being questioned.
Reports say the motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
