Militants have shot dead two people, including a policeman, in Ingushetia, part of Russia's volatile North Caucasus region.
Police said the two men died of gunshot wounds on February 7 after suspected militants in a car shot them at point blank range.
The latest attack took place outside a market near the town of Karabulak in Ingushetia around noon, the police said, adding that no further details were immediately available.
The attack comes amid a spike in violence across the North Caucasus over the past several days.
Late on February 5, gunmen killed a local police chief and three other officers in the neighbouring region of Daghestan, just hours after another blast killed an antiterror official in the same region.
