Pakistani officials say gunmen in northwest Pakistan have ambushed a truck carrying supplies for NATO troops in neighboring Afghanistan, killing two people.
Local government officials said the truck was attacked near Jamrud in the Khyber tribal district.
The driver and his assistant were killed, and the attackers then set the truck on fire.
The attack comes five days after Pakistan reopened a key border crossing with Afghanistan.
Pakistan closed the main Khyber Pass crossing on September 30 after a NATO helicopter strike killed two Pakistan border guards.
Dozens of trucks carrying supplies to international troops in Afghanistan were destroyed in attacks while the crossing was closed.
