KYIV (Reuters) -- Forces from Ukraine's SBU security service are conducting an investigation at the offices of the authority overseeing Ukraine's gas pipelines, a spokeswoman said, the second such incident in as many days.
A spokeswoman for the Ukrtransgaz company said a group of men in civilian clothes and apparently unarmed were seeking entry to the authority's offices.
SBU spokeswoman Maryna Ostapenko said by telephone: "Representatives of the SBU are conducting an investigation within the framework of a criminal case over abuses in the gas sector."
On March 4, SBU officers in riot gear pushed their way into the offices of Naftogaz, the national energy company.
