A group of Afghans arrived at Skopje International Airport on September 15, the second group to arrive in North Macedonia since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan last month. The 44 Afghans included members of a humanitarian organization called Turquoise Mountain, along with their family members. The government said the people would be temporarily housed in Skopje until a transfer to their final destination was secured.
