Afghan rescue teams are struggling to find about 80 villagers feared to have been buried by a landslide after two earthquakes in northern Afghanistan.
Baghlan Province Governor Abdul Majid said 22 homes were buried by the landslide.
By noon on June 12, the bodies of two dead women had been recovered and about 20 people had been hospitalized with injuries.
Two quakes with magnitudes of 5.4 and 5.7 struck the region on June 11, bringing down mud and rocks on the remote mountain settlement.
The tremors could be felt in Kabul about 170 kilometers to the south.
