Deadly Earthquakes Strike Northwestern Afghanistan

Local men rushed to search the rubble of collapsed houses in rural areas of Afghanistan's Zindah Jan district in Herat Province following a series of powerful earthquakes. Some of the volunteers were devastated to find their loved ones dead. RFE/RL has obtained videos shot by local people shortly after the quakes on October 7.
