U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (Independent, Connecticut) has said that his staff was informed by Amazon.com that it has ceased to host the WikiLeaks website.
Lieberman said Amazon's decision to cut off WikiLeaks was the correct decision "and should set a standard for other companies WikiLeaks is using to distribute its illegally seized material."
Amazon's move comes just days after WikiLeaks started posting U.S. diplomatic cables on its site.
