The newly appointed U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic, Stephen King, has rejected a Newsweek report alleging that he "beat and 'kidnapped'" a woman as part of the cover-up of the 1972 Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. King made the comments in an exclusive interview with Current Time TV, the Russian-language network run by RFE/RL in cooperation with VOA.
