Syria's official SANA news agency says the Arab League rejects any foreign interference in Syria.
The report quoted Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi as making the remarks during talks in Damascus with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
SANA said Arabi also expressed the "desire to help Syria overcome this phase" and that he and Assad "agreed on a number of concrete measures to speed up reforms in Syria."

SANA quoted Assad as saying there is a need "to not get caught in campaigns of disinformation against Syria."
Arabi is visiting Syria in a bid to pressure Assad's regime to halt deadly violence against antigovernment protesters. The visit had originally been scheduled for September 7, but was postponed for three days by the Assad regime.
Arab League countries have already called on Syriam authorities to halt violence and start implementing political and economic reforms.
The United Nations says more than 2,200 people have been killed in Syria since antigovernment protests began in mid-March.
