Pashinian Tells Supporters 'Have A Rest'

Armenian opposition leader Nikol Pashinian has told supporters that they can pause their protests, after the ruling Republican Party suggested it would back him to become the country's interim prime minister. The Republican Party had thwarted Pashinian's bid for the role in a parliamentary vote on May 1, prompting Pashinian to call a general strike which brought Armenia to a standstill on May 2.
