Ecuadoran President: Asylum For 'Discourteous and Aggressive' Assange 'No Longer Viable'

Ecuadoran President Lenin Moreno said his government withdrew asylum for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s because he repeatedly violated international conventions. Assange was arrested by British police on April 11 at the Ecuadoran embassy in London where he had been holed up since 2012. Moreno said Assange's "discourteous and aggressive behavior" led to a situation where asylum was "no longer viable."
