Volunteer teacher Cosqun Eldaroglu is determined to get Azerbaijani village children a real education -- even if it means hours of driving to reach them. The former journalist was treated with skepticism when he first began his twice-weekly lessons three years ago. But residents who had no school access for children beyond fourth grade have come to respect and value Eldaroglu's lessons in math, English, geography, and the Azeri language.
