Belarusian artist Vladislav Bokhan has repeatedly pranked teachers in Russian schools through subversive campaigns mocking Kremlin propaganda and a culture of fear that makes people loath to disobey obviously absurd instructions. In his latest ruse, he made teachers pose in tinfoil hats, portrayed as a protection "against foreign enemies." In a November 11 video interview, Bokhan told RFE/RL that the prank was only one part of a satirical series aiming to "test the extent of fascistization in Russian society."
