Belarusian Security Forces Detain Protesters

Arrests of anti-government protesters continued in Minsk on November 1. Gunshots were heard at several locations along the route of the protest march that was heading to Kurapaty -- a site on the outskirts of the Belarusian capital where mass executions took place under Josef Stalin in the 1930s and 1940s.
