Belgian prosecutors have charged Paris attacks suspect Mohamed Abrini with terrorist murders and participation in the activities of a terrorist group.
The prosecutor's office said in Brussels on April 9 that Abrini is also the "man in the hat" photographed at Brussels airport with two other bombers shortly before the March 22 blast in the Belgian capital.
Abrini, who was arrested in Belgium on April 8, is the last known fugitive of last year's Paris attacks, which killed 130 people on November 13 last year.
Belgian prosecutors on April 9 also charged another suspect, identified as Osama K., for "terrorist murders." They said he was present at the Brussels metro station bombing on March 22 and confirmed he is from Sweden.
Osama K. has been identified by Swedish media as Osama Krayem, who is known to have previously traveled from the Swedish city of Malmo to fight in Syria.
The announcements come as Belgian authorities on April 9 detained a sixth person in connection with the suicide attacks in Brussels. The attacks killed 32 people.
