The departure hall at Brussels airport will partiallly reopen on May 1, nearly six weeks after it was damaged by a deadly double-suicide bombing, airport management said.
"After a reopening ceremony, passengers from three flights on Sunday afternoon will be able to check in in the departure hall," the management said in a statement on April 30.
Two suicide bombers blew themselves up in the airport departure hall, while a third set off an explosion at a subway station in the Belgium capital on March 22.
Belgium authorities say more than 30 people were killed in the attacks, claimed by the Islamic State extremist group.
The airport was closed for 12 days after the attacks and has been progressively resuming operations.
The statement said passengers will check in for flights in 111 counters in the departure hall and 36 others in temporary buildings.
Passengers have been asked to arrive three hours before their flights to allow time for stepped-up security checks.
The airport is not expected to return to full capacity until June.
