A roadside bomb has struck a civilian vehicle in eastern Afghanistan's Khost Province, killing nine people.
Provincial deputy police chief Mohammad Yaqoub Mandozai said all the victims were civilians and included women and children.
He blamed the attack on "enemies of Afghanistan," a term often used to refer to Taliban militants waging an insurgency against Afghan and foreign forces in Afghanistan.
