Tens of thousands of people have gathered in the Bosnian village of Srebrenica to rebury 409 newly identified victims of the 1995 massacre.
July 11 marks the 18th anniversary of the worst massacre on European soil since the Nazi era.
The bodies are being laid to rest at a special cemetery near Srebrenica where victims are buried as their remains are gradually identified after being found in mass graves.
In July 1995, Bosnian Serb forces overran the UN-protected village and executed more than 8,000 men and boys within days.
The UN war crimes court for the former Yugoslavia was expected to rule later on July 11 on an appeal of the decision to drop a charge of genocide against Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic, who faces other counts including masterminding the Srebrenica massacre.
