A $6.6 million soccer center has been opened in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Michel Platini, head of the European football governing body UEFA, took part in the September 2 opening ceremony in the central Bosnian town of Zenica.

The center has two stadiums and six changing rooms as well as meeting rooms and accommodation premises. The project was mainly funded by UEFA.

The center is intended to help the national team to prepare for matches. It was also designed to give young players a chance to develop their skills.
