Boston Bomb Suspect's Sister Charged

Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's sister has been arrested on suspicion of threatening to bomb a New York City woman.

Police say ethnic Chechen Ailina Tsarnaeva made the threat via telephone on August 25 and turned herself in on August 27.

She is charged with “aggravated harassment.”

Police say the New Jersey resident is due in court September 30.

Her brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is charged in the 2013 Boston Marathon explosions, which killed three people.

Tsarnaev has pleaded not guilty.

His trial is scheduled for November.

Dzhokhar’s brother, Tamerlan, died after a shoot-out with police.
