British police have charged a second suspect with the murder of a soldier who was hacked to death on a London street in broad daylight.
Michael Adebolajo was charged June 1 with the murder of 25-year-old British soldier Lee Rigby.
He was also charged with the attempted murder of two police officers and the illegal possession of a gun.
He is due to appear before the Westminster Magistrates Court in London on June 3.
Adebolajo and another suspect, Michael Adebowale, were both shot by London police at the scene of the murder near Rigby’s barracks in Woolwich on May 22.
Adebolajo was released from hospital on May 31 and taken into custody for questioning.
Adebowale was discharged from hospital on May 28 and charged with the murder.
