A district court in the Croatian city of Split has ruled in favor of transferring the Royal Romance yacht that belonged to pro-Moscow Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk to the Ukrainian state, the head of Ukraine's Asset Recovery and Management Agency, Olena Duma, reported on Telegram. Following Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, Medvedchuk was placed under international sanctions and his yacht was arrested in the Croatian port of Rijeka in March 2022. The value of the luxury yacht is estimated at some $200 million. Accused of high treason, Medvedchuk was handed to Russia in a prisoner exchange in September 2022.
