Daghestani Liquor Store Bombed, Killing One

One person has been killed and at least 10 people injured after two bombs exploded in the capital of Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Daghestan.

Daghestan's Interior Ministry says all injured in the attack on October 30 have been taken to hospital.

The attack apparently targeted a liquor store in Makhachkala.

Islamic insurgents in Daghestan and other restive republics of Russia's volatile North Caucasus region frequently attack liquor stores and other public places selling alcoholic beverages as Islam prohibits the drinking of alcohol.
