Deadly Aftermath Of Russian Missile Strike On Kramatorsk In Ukraine

Rescue workers and volunteers worked through the night to pull people out of a restaurant and shopping center that were targeted by Russian missiles on June 27. 

Reuters is reporting at at least 10 people were killed and 61 wounded as search and rescue operations continue.

Rescuers and volunteers work to save people from under the rubble following the missile attack. 

Kramatorsk has been a frequent target of Russian attacks, including a strike on the city's railway station in April 2022 that killed 63 people.

The head of the Donetsk military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, told Ukrainian television that missiles struck when the area was crowded with civilians.

Russia denies targeting civilian sites in what it has described as a "special military operation" since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

A Russian missile struck a restaurant and shopping center in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on June 27, killing at least 10 people and wounding 61, emergency services said, as rescue crews continue to search through the rubble for casualties.
