Representatives from the European Parliament have visited Ukraine's jailed former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in her hospital.
Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox arrived Wednesday at the clinic in Ukraine's eastern city of Kharkiv, where Tymoshenko is being treated for back problems.
The two men were designated last year to serve as EU observers in the proceedings against Tymoshenko.
Tymoshenko was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2011 for crimes related to a 2009 gas deal with Russia.
She is also due to be tried on tax evasion and embezzlement charges and is being investigated in a murder case.
Tymoshenko denies all charges, saying they are politically motivated.
The EU has been pushing Kyiv to pardon Tymoshenko before signing an EU Association Agreement in November.
