A Russian man who was sentenced this month to two years in prison after anti-war drawings by his 13-year-old daughter drew attention to his online posts about the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine has retained his parental rights. Aleksei Moskalyov's lawyer said on April 21 that authorities in the city of Yefremov have withdrawn their request to deprive him of his parental rights, saying Moskalyov's daughter, who was briefly held in a Russian orphanage, is currently safe and lives with her mother, who had long been separated from Moskalyov.
